A memorial day to remember

leftyjewReally great weekend. I was outside for most of it, which explains why my face looks like this.
Wed: Aharon comes to visit for the weekend!
Friday: TLS - spoke with Aharon and LauraB and half-expected JoshL to come up the stairs at any point.
Saturday: Picnic in Malcolm X Park!
Saturday night: Nemeth and his gf came down/up from NJ/Harrisonburg, respectively. We walked along the waterfront until thte end of shabbas when I find a bunch of picnickers hanging around. Big havdallah outside, and then n, Monika and I head out to Lucky Bar to hang out and meet Karen. Karen and I stay up late talking.
Sunday: Karen leaves. n and M leave. I go to the farmers' market with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
winnter_rose We split up and I get invited to a picnic. We picnic in the same place as before (one tree to the north) but it's a totally different crowd. And Aalok comes down to chill for a while! Meanwhile there was an awesome drum circle in the upper part of the park like there usually is on sundays, and someone is learning to slack line!
Sunday night: I get invited out to VA, but instead I crash on the couch listening to 1950s radio on NPR.
Monday: Laundry, and then a baseball game which we're incredibly late to thanks to me. The new stadium is okay. I'm confused why there's an arcade. I missed my chevruta appointment withcurlybopbop because my phone was dead and I was at the game and I wasn't sure what was going on, etc. Also because I'm lame.
Monday night: DCBM and Trio!
Tuesday morning: Say goodbye to Aharon.
Total of out of towners: 5 (Aalok didn't stay over)
Total of person-days spent on our couches (not including me Sunday night): 7
Missed chevruta appointments: 1
