It can, it just won't. E.g., I put in my password for LJ and suddenly the site can see your entries. It won't show them to another person, but it COULD if it wanted to
I received 2 emails (in different accounts) from Spokeo with the subject line: "People are searching for you on Spokeo", and they include info on what accounts they found for me. They found my flickr, amazon wishlist, upcoming (which I don't even use) and pandora (don't either use). Whatever, I am not too concerned about this.
According to spokeo, I updated my myspace account yesterday as well as pandora. 1) I don't have a myspace account, I disabled mine over a year ago. 2) the last time I used pandora was over a year ago as well. Spokeo is just a stupid program.
