I was talking on the phone with a friend who misheard prognosticate and was tired. She devised the best mishearing ever - prognostitute.
I need to use this word, but first I need to define it. Here's another friend's understanding:

leftyjew i just heard a new term that i don't know the defnition of
leftyjew: but i want to poluarize it
leftyjew: prognostitute
friend: oh god.
leftyjew: amazing, n'est pas?
friend: I'm guessing that it is a combination of prognosticate and prostitute, but I'm not sure how they come together other than ....
friend: being a lawyer

Note: this friend is a lawyer.
