I can't believe it. Bush finally admits that Iraq is a new Vietnam. But he's got it all wrong. First, we've been trying to get closer ties to Vietnam lately, you know, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam -- the regime we were fighting against from 1950-74 (I'm including the US support in the French War, too, so that would be like saying that the current Iraq War started in 1990. If you want just the American War, we can say 1960-74). But now Bush has the audacity to say that American withdrawal was what caused a disaster in Southeast Asia and then goes on to use the same arguments Kennedy and Johnson did about why we should stay involved. WTF?! I would love to see who the fuck believes this piece of shit.
