Farewell to couch

I got rid of my couch last night. I dragged it through the hallway and down the stairs by myself. I'm pretty proud of that. The couch was not happy and needed to go, so it's waiting to be taken by the trash collectors. I'll miss it. It was a useful couch for having shabbas meals with up to 11 people, and having three people stay overnight. It was also nice to have a soft sitting surface that wasn't my bed. I think I will soon get a new one. But perhaps I will also get a new bed.
