hooray for awesome people
Jun. 5th, 2006 09:36 amSo I think the number of awesome people in my life has been on the rise, and I've spent more time with said awesome people. This weekend was full of that (just because i didnt hang out with you this weekend doesn't mean you're not awesome). Anyway, social interactions have improved dramatically in the past year. Maybe my Rosh Hashanah resolution is beginning to be acheived.
Also, Shavuot in DC was really good. I'm glad I stayed in DC because:
1. The smell of berries crushed on the sidewalk smelled good - like summer in DC and Lake Wabeeka.
2. Got to hang out with Paul, Ryan and Shoshana and met Shosh's sister.
3. I've been in DC for shabbat for about 2 of the previous 6 weeks, so it was refreshing to be back.
4. Sleep.
5. Community.
6. Judges.
7. Saw people at shul I haven't seen in a year. Or ever.
8. DC is great on shabbat.
9. My a/c was working.
10. Went out right after shabbas ended.
11. Walked Annabelle with Rachel. Yay dog! (I forgot that was this weekend! Time goes so strangely.)
