Dec. 14th, 2003 01:54 pmI just took the SelectSmart 2004 Presidential Selector. Four years ago, I got the Socialist candidate, too (I think they're trying to tell me something). Then, I saw him (David McReynolds) in Philly at a protest and Brian and I got to take our picture with him. Maybe one day I'll meet Walt Brown....
It disappoints me that Dean is only 74%. Ah well. It's better than I remember Gore was last time. I just hope he gets nominated. Even the Daily Standard thinks he has a chance of beating Bush.
Anyway, here are the results... And let me know what your results are...
1. Your ideal theoretical candidate. (100%)
2. Socialist Candidate (94%)
3. Kucinich, Rep. Dennis, OH - Democrat (82%)
4. Green Party Candidate (75%)
5. Dean, Gov. Howard, VT - Democrat (74%)
6. Clark, Retired General Wesley K., AR - Democrat (71%)
7. Edwards, Senator John, NC - Democrat (71%)
8. Kerry, Senator John, MA - Democrat (63%)
9. Gephardt, Rep. Dick, MO - Democrat (61%)
10. Sharpton, Reverend Al - Democrat (56%)
11. Lieberman, Senator Joe, CT - Democrat (40%)
12. Moseley-Braun, Former Senator Carol, IL - Democrat (36%)
13. LaRouche, Lyndon H. Jr. - Democrat (36%)
14. Libertarian Candidate (23%)
15. Bush, President George W. - Republican (12%)
