Am I the only one who thinks this is funny?

Date: 2003-11-23 03:53 pm (UTC)I've been in a local 'sex shop', with my then-boyfriend buying a present for a friend (fluffy handcuffs)... it was odd, and I couldn't imagine wearing any of the clothes in the top part of the shop (the more 'hardcore' stuff was downstairs). But it depends on the shop, too. I guess this shop mainly sold fetish wear. There's a British chain of shops called 'Ann Summers'. I'd post a url, but I'm at work and I dont want to google for one :) Anyway, Ann Summers is aimed at women, and there's a new branch on my local high street. It caters for a wide range of women - they may well have underwear I would wear but I don't know. I don't have the guts to go look :) (or the money!) Ann Summers' parties are like Tupperware parties... so you can see women really are their target market :) I think your average woman wouldn't mind a voucher from there... they probably sell nice tame things like scented candles...
