Happy Birthday to Moses! it is strange living with a 41 year old. He snores in the next room but seems young - 27 perhaps. I wonder if he's different with other people. He must be. He must context switch frequently as many of his friends speak better french or chinese or amharic than english. i'm not exactly sure of his job. so far, he's puzzling. but i guess that all goes with the name. 摩西 - Moxi. much closer to Moshe than "Moses" is. i wonder what he thinks of me.
talking to G-d is a big deal. i don't get how no one really emphasizes the fact that Abraham and Moses had long conversations and even arguments with the Omniscient Being. it's a huge deal.
and on yom kippur, some of the words in the mahzor stood out as if physically separate from the rest (surrounded by more white) during ne'ila. yimloch was one of them. chesed was another. i forget the others. that's the kinda thing you should remember, too.
after break fast this yom kippur i was too-closely hugged by a member of the same sex and opposite orientation.
riddle me this, batman:
If a chicken-and-a-half can lay an egg-and-a-half in a day-and-a-half, then how long does it take 3 chickens to lay 3 eggs?
