So I'm not technically at a nonprofit anymore, but I still think that what I do has meaning. And I think it creates good in the world. And I don't think I could work somewhere that I couldn't convince myself of that. Below is an excerpt from beautiful email written by a project leader of one of the projects on our site:

I'm sure I'm not the first person to tell you this but [your company] will forever remain one of the few organizations that will go down the annals of non-profit history as the most responsive, most dedicated and most devoted to fulfilling the goals of grassroots communities in all corners of the globe.
Every day when you type an e-mail message, your fingers wipe away the tears of the dejected orphan; every time you boot your computer, you instil hope in the life of the hapless widow and as each one of you opens your office ready for another day, you open a new chapter in the lives of forgotten families.
YOU are great, all of you...so don't let Wall Street mess dampen your spirits!!

I almost cried when reading it. (I also appreciate the appropriate use of a semicolon.)
