At some point I'll write about my week of vacation and my new job. Right now, I'm just going to mention my bike accident this morning. Not a lot of fun. Somehow I decided that going between a parked car and a cop car was a good idea. It wasn't. Anyway, I'm mostly fine (sore shoulder, scraped shoulder and knee), and I'm glad I was wearing my helmet. I'm not glad I was wearing my glasses. Anyway, aside from that things have been going great! I like the job, I like the weather, and I like DC Beit Midrash. That's basically been my life with a few exceptions, lately. It's interesting. Oh! And we found a replacement for nosockstorock's spot (I'll miss her a LOT).

he'll move in at the end of august. His name is Nathan. He's from California. Not jewish, but vegetarian. Seems like a cool dork guy.

I just squeezed between a parked car and a cop car waiting for the light. I hit the parked car's sideview with my handlebar and then the cop car with my other handlebar. I went flying. The cop got out and asked the guy in the parked car if he wanted to press charges. He said no. He asked if I needed an ambulance. I said no. I asked if his car was ok. He said yes. I went to work, took some advil and put on some bandaids on my shoulder and knee.
