Mar. 16th, 2003 06:25 pmSo Saturday was a really good day for me. I got to go to Kesher for services which is fun, and i hung out and the weather has gotten much better, so i went for a walk down to the lincoln memorial and walked inside of the reflecting pool in my suit! (ok, so they drained the water out, but still...it was fun to do) and i walked a bit around southeastern georgetown, north of m street, which i dont get to do very much... or i havent done much anyway. after dark, mitch called and invited me out...
So it was a beautiful night and very few clouds and the moon was shining brightly and i felt like a bird at night! it was such an incredible feeling. Flight! I want to soar like an eagle and to control one of those big machines known as an airplane. Fei ji! 飞机! ahh!! there were all these houses in manassas, va with the proch lights on and nothing around them for miles! it filled me with a sense of power and beauty to be up there. my guess is that its a good way to impress girls, too - take them flying. but mostly it was teh freedom that did it for me. Ah! to go back!
Anyway, then we hit up an awesome film in georgetown - Life of David Gale. it got horrible reviews but i got really involved and realyl enjoyed teh film.
Today was spent cleaning and enjoying springtime weather and i have to go pick up my mishlach manah (i dont know if i conjugated correctly) from mom at mail services. all in all, a good day (though little school work was accomplished by me).
now i must be cleaning some more, so adieu!
((Looking forward to
