Happy Kwanzaa!

In the elevator, as we chatted, an African-American woman said to me:
Her: Today's the second day of Kwanzaa.
Me: Oh! Happy Kwanzaa! What does this day symbolize?
Her: Oh, I don't know. I'm not Jewish, I just know it's the second day today.
Me: Kwanzaa's not a Jewish holiday.
Her: Really? (gets off elevator)

WTF!?

Well anyway, to those who celebrate, happy Kwanzaa!
